Breckin Is Off The Transfer List

Breckin Is Off The Transfer List

One of the last actions of former manager Colin Calderwood, was to place the then club captain Ian Breckin on the transfer list.

Today sees a massive turnaround in fortunes for the former player of the year turned scapegoat, as he has been told that he does have a part to play in securing the clubs' Championship status.

News from the official site, is that Billy Davies has seen enough to suggest that he deserves another chance.

It's not too unkind to say that last season was pretty poor from Breckin's point of view, but when he has played in the side this season, he's been more than deserving of his place. So long as he continues with displays like those against Plymouth today, he will have a place in the side and will add to his tally of 140 appearances for the club.

Having seen his last few displays he fully deserves a run in the side & being removed from the transfer list.....let's just hope that, having achieved his goal, that he doesn't take his eye of the ball!
