Forest After Villa Starlet - Rumour or Spin?

After what turned out to be the quietest transfer window on record, the loan window looks like making it seem a veritable shopping spree in comparrison.

The latest rumour/spin to hit the message boards, comes in the shape of Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne. He's 21 and he's a defensive midfielder. He's made half a dozen appearances for Villa, mainly in the Cups and through substitute appearances. Other than that, there's not much info on the young fella.

Billy did say in his post match interview at the weekend, that he hoped to have a player or two in on loan by Tuesday. But he said that the weekend before and the weekend before that. Infact, even Colin Calderwood was saying that he hoped to make a couple of signings, when he was the gaffer....three bloody months ago! So don't hold yer breath.

As mentioned in the link, Fester are in for the player as well. The League 1 boys, have already beat us to the signature of keeper Mark Bunn, so don't be surprised to see them bag "Ozzy" too. Will we actually sign a player, or is this yet more spin from the club?
