McSheffrey Signs.....But For How Long?

Nottingham Forest have secured their second loan signing of the week, by landing Brum striker/winger Gary McSheffrey.

According to the official site, he joins us for a minimum of 28 days and after that, City can recall him.

It doesn't sound like an ideal solution to our striker problems to be honest, as he might only be here for 5 games.

McSheffrey is 26 years old and hasn't played in over 4 months (barring the final 20mins last weekend), due to a serious knee injury. He's a proven player at Championship level and will be again. The only problem for Forest, is whether he'll be around long enough to have any effect.

Is this a good deal for Forest? Have your say on the forum now.
