Contract Extension For Wes

Wes Morgan is currently the longest serving player at Forest and today the official site have announced that he's to stay at the club until 2012.

Morgan has made almost 250 appearances for the Reds'and made his debut back in 2003 against Port Vale. The Nottingham born lad is a fans favourite and has already been rewarded for his displays this season, by earning the Captains' armband.

He's having a great season for the Reds' so far and has been one of the few good points in an otherwise dodgy defence this campaign. There were rumours that he was set to move away in the summer, but the signing of this new deal should put an end to that speculation.
