Dexter Blackstock Is A Red

Out of favour QPR striker Dexter Blackstock, has today joined Forest on loan until the end of the season.

The 22 year old has fallen out of favour at Loftus Road and has been the subject of transfer rumours since refusing to sign a new deal with the Londoners.

He was close to joining us in January but the deal fell through. Whether he makes the move permanent, remains to be seen. But it's expected that our Championship status will be the deciding factor in that decision.

Billy Davies has long been an admirer of the 6ft, 2inch frontman and he could be just what we're after. He will no doubt be used as a target man, which is what we've been crying out for all season. Welcome to the City Ground Dexter Blackstock.

I've always rated Blackstock think this is a good signing for us. Well done Billy.
