New Cover for Left back?

New Cover for Left back?

Nottingham Forest have been trying to lure the Eastwood Town left-side defender for the past month after he completed a successful trial with the club in which he along with team-mates Lindon Meikle and Marc Stevenson competed in behind the doors reserves team friendly.

The defender is strong with his tackles and likes to attack whenever possible.

Nottingham Forest are set to step up their interest in the youngster, but Eastwood Town boss Paul Cox insists 'the move will only go through in the right circumstances.

Club offices have contacted the Eastwood town board about a fee required to purchases him but because of the interest being showed by other clubs around the Premiership and the Championship Eastwood Town appear in no rush to sell the prized asset.

Daniel has broken into the Eastwood town first team after impressing for the club's junior sides and this season and has made 33 appearances -scoring twice and has helped lift Eastwood away from the UniBond Division one drop zone.

What kind of fee can be expected for him?

The report doesn't say how old he is. But, I guess if he's a youngster he might want to waoit and see if a big club comes in for him.
