'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We've Got The Championship In Our Hands

With only two games left to go for Forest this season, there's still alot to play for and the possibility of alot still going wrong, but thanks to an injury time penalty last night, the Championship future for the Reds' is now in our own hands.

Relegation rivals Barnsley, took a 9th minute lead over Coventry last night and looked set for a vital 3 points and the chance to jump ahead of us in the table. But thanks to an Elliot Ward penalty in the 94th minute of the game for the Sky Blues, the Tykes now sit a point below us and just 2 above the drop zone.

The result means that if Forest get a point at Blackpool on Saturday and Norwich lose to Reading at home next Monday, then the Reds' are safe. Reading did us a favour last night as well, by beating the Sheep 2-0. We now sit just 2 points behind the Shaggers in the table and could even finish the season above them. How sweet would that be? But before we go counting our chickens, there's still 2 games left to play.

Well with our 'friends' the scummers' down, one way or another, you have a good chance of avoiding the last relegation spot. Good luck from us in Pompey.
