'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blackstock - Keen On Making Move Permanent

On loan striker Dexter Blackstock has proved his worth since joining from QPR and has said he's happy with life at the City Ground.

Talking to ITV Sport, Dex said. 'I am enjoying it and everything about the club is great. The fan base, ground, training ground and the management staff. It is a massive club. My future doesn't necessarily lie in my hands. If QPR accept a fee for me it's up to me to leave.'

Blackstock has carried on his goalscoring exploits with the Reds' and has netted twice in his five appearances. He was top scorer at Loftus Road with twelve goals, before coming to Trentside in a surprise loan move. His performances in the Garibaldi have also coincided with our best run of the season, as we're unbeaten with him in the side. A fee of £1.8m was rumoured to have been agreed between the two clubs' for his signature, which on current form would be money well spent.
