'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Reds' Are Staying Up!

It's been a long hard slog of a season for Forest fans, but we've survived the dreaded drop, thanks to a Shane Long brace for Reading last night at Carrow Road.

The 2-0 win for the Royals, has secured our safety in the Championship for another year and virtually consigned Norwich to relegation.

As well as thanks to Reading, Forest fans will owe a huge debt of gratitude to manager Billy Davies, who has performed nothing short of a miracle in keeping us up. At Christmas we were dead certs for the drop, but his arrival has seen a sterner and meaner Nottingham Forest and one that will hopefully be built on over the summer.

There's still the matter of the final game with Southampton on Sunday to contend with, but Forest fans can now look forward to what should be a wonderful summer. Thanks Reading, but most of all, thanks to Billy Davies.

Thanks Billy - I like what you are doing and if the board give you some money, would like to see your own signings coming to us in the summer, then see what you can do. Job done!!!

Congrats Forest fans, I'm not a Billy Davies fan but he's kept you up so fair play. Not a bad start to championship football.
