The Vital Forest Fan Interview: RedSmedDownUnder

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Since 1969. First game was at the CG -v- Man City. We lost 0-1.

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Good:
Winning the League Title.
Winning 2 European Cups.
Seeing Crossley knock the ref out with a well placed punt upfield!!
Seeing Gary Crosby head the ball out of Andy Dibbles hand to score the winner against Man City!!

Bad:
Relegation in Cloughies final season, a traumatic end to the greatest period in the history of NFFC, and for the Greatest Manager ever bar none.
David Platt!!!!!
Hillsborough.
Losing to Spuds in the 91 Cup Final, on May 18th...my 30th Birthday no less!!!

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Shilton

Anderson
Walker
Burns
Pearce

O'Neill
Gemmill .A.
Metgod
Robertson

Francis
Woodcock

All time favourite...Peter Shilton.

Q - What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Ian Story-Moore versus Arsenal. Ran about 80 yards with the ball, took on 5 or 6 players, rounded the keeper and slotted it home.
A number of Pearce and Metgod free kick specials also stick in the memory

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

Best Old Trafford, worst Plough Lane.

Q - What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Redevelop the CG with a new Main Stand.

Gunter, Anderson, Camp, Blackstock, Osbourne and someone like Rasiack.

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

Bad!!

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

10th
