Which Is The Best Football Team Ever?

Which Is The Best Football Team Ever?

Manchester United may have secured their third consecutive Premier League title today, but are they better than Cloughie's magnificent team that secured back to back European Cup victories in 1979 and 1980?

The Sun is conducting a poll, where you can vote for the team you think is worthy of the accolade of best football team ever.

The Liverpool team that dominated Europe in the 70's and 80's is in there, but we broke their dominance in that area surely. The famous Spurs side that won the double in 1961 could offer some competition for the honour, but Man Ure have 4 different teams up for the award.

You can cast your vote at the above link and keep tabs on how the voting is going at the same time. I may be a little biased, but surely the great Cloughie team of 1980 is the natural and rightful winner?.

The teams up for selection are:

Arsenal's 2004 'Invincibles'
Leeds 1968 - 1969
Liverpool 1976 - 1978
Liverpool 1983 - 1984
Manchester United's 1968 European Cup winning team
Manchester United`s 1999 Treble-winning side
Manchester United 2008
Manchester United 2009
Nottingham Forest 1977 - 1980
Tottenham's 1961 Double-winning side.
