'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Not Long To Go Now Then

In what seems like the first time in eons ( not an intended hint of our new sponsors), the official site brings us news of potential new signings in waiting.

Speaking to the OS, Billy Davies said. 'It's important we try and conclude one or two signings.' He has no bloody idea how much I personally agree with him on that one. Forest fans have been starved of news from the club in recent weeks and whilst they're as entitled to a rest and time off like the rest of us, we have all been on tenterhooks, waiting for the first announcement of a signing from the City Ground....well I have at any rate.

Despite going out on a limb with news of the Adebola, McKenna, McGoldrick and Blackstock signings, the club have refused to help us out and confirm them. Still, I stand by what was said and will hopefully be proved right.....eventually.

Davies did confirm what we already know, in that next season will be even harder than the last. But he also hinted at an influx of newbies, saying. 'If we can keep the tremendous spirit and crucially bring in a huge amount of signings, then I think we will be ready to make a good challenge.'

If we get all the players we hope to, then 'making a good challenge' is a real possibility. The proof will be in the signings, but if they all come off, it promisses to be a real fun summer, dunnit?
