The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Reiss Lane

The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Reiss Lane

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Since 1996 When I Was 4 & Now Im 17, So 13 Years, My 1st game Was Against Boro In The Premiership At Home And We Drew 1-1 In 1996.

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Good - Beating Derby 3-0, Promotion To The Championship, 3-0 Cup Win Over City.
Bad - The Defeats Against Derby, Relegations, Watching League 1 Footy For 3 Years.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

GK - Camp
RB - Louis-Jean
LB - Pearce
CB - Walker
CB - Morgan/Dawson
RM - Prutton (His 1st Time)
LM - Reid
CM - Cohen
S - Van Hooijdonk
S - Johnson
S - Harewood

I Could Put Far Better Players In This Team But They Were Before My Time.

Q - What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Quite A Few But The Harewood Goal Vs Palace, Where He Scored From An Impossible Angle Comes To Mind But My Favourite Is Tyson's Volley Vs Man City.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

Best - Old Trafford/City Of Manchester Stadium.
Worst - Oakwell.

Q - What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Dont Want It Because Our Stadium Is Already Big Enough, Is In A Fantastic Location & Just Wouldn't Feel The Same.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer(realistically)?

Lee Camp, Chris Gunter, Jamal Campbell Ryce, Dexter Blackstock, Jermaine Beckford.

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

Bit Of Both, Its More Safe And Gives You An Option If You Want To Sit Down But The Atmosphere Ain't So Good.

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

I Think A Lot Of Us Thought We Would Finish Higher Than We Did But To Be Honest, I Didnt Think We Added Depth & Experience To The Squad In The Summer, So I Wasnt To Surprised Where We Finished.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

I Fancy Us As A Dark Horse For The Play-Offs But Top Half Would Be Really Good.

Q - What League position will Forest occupy at the end of the 2009/10 season?

Going With My Heart, The Play Offs But With My Head, Around Mid Table 10th-12th.

Q - What's your opinion of Billy Davies and what he's done at NFFC, since arriving in January?

I Like His Methods More, He Seems Stricter & More Shrewd In The Market Unlike Calderwood. He Did Really Well To Keep Us Up & I Think At This Level Is Ideal. Only Dissapointment With Him Was He Lost To Derby TWICE AT HOME!

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

Season Ticket In Trent End Upper T1 But Prefer To Sit To Be Confirmed Corner.

Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Where Do I Start, Prob Would Say Katy Perry.
