Carling Cup: Forest Draw The Bantams At Home

The draw for the 1st round of the 2009/10 Carling Cup was announced today and Forest have been drawn at home to League 2 side Bradford City.

The Bantams are currently managed by former Rangers and Everton midfielder Stuart McCall. He's been in charge of the Yorkshire outfit since 2007 and finished last season just 2 points behind the League 2 playoff places in 9th spot.

City boss McCall is an old mate of Billy Davies' and relishes the prospect of facing the Reds'. He told the Bradford City official site. 'I know their manager, Billy Davies and I am sure he will be working hard to add to some good players this summer, but we're trying to put together a good squad here also, so there should be some good players on show and a great tie'

The game at the City Ground, will take place on either 11th or 12th August.
