Wes Signs Up!

Morgan has played 129 games so far for Forest and his excellent form and budding partnership at the heart of the Reds defence with Ian Breckin has led to Forest acting swiftly to retain his services.

Morgan is a product of the Nottingham Forest academy, Forest chief executive Mark Arthur told the official website: 'We're justifiably proud of our record of developing fine young talent and Wes certainly falls into that category.

'We're delighted he has decided to pledge his future to us.'

Morgan will look to extend his good recent form against Tranmere at the weekend and will look to continue to be a role model for the other youngsters at the club hoping to become proffesionals at Nottingham Forest.

It's always good to see youngsters come through and sign for the first team. Its a shame we are light years behind everyone else it seems.
