'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Vital Forest Fan Interview: David P

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Born in 1976- so since then I suppose. First game was in 84/85 home to the Villa. Nige was on the bench, and Metgod scored a freekick to win 3-2 from being 2-1 down.

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

The best moment for me was at Wembley on a baking hot day seeing us beat Luton 3-1 and also seeing the FA paying us a fee to take away David Platt...Priceless!
The worse day? Getting relegated to division 3, I never ever thought it would happen to us.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Oddly my all time favourite doesn't get in my best 11. Nigel 'our number 9' Clough is my favourite...

GK - Sutton
LB - Brett Williams lol, only kidding! Psycho
RB - Brian Laws
CH - Dessie
CH - Terry Wilson (this lad was awesome until he knackered his knee)
MC - Hodge
MC - Webb
AML - Woan
AMR - Nicky Summerbee! - Simply because he has been the best crosser of the ball we have had in 20 years
AK Stanley Victor Collymore
AK PVH

Q - What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Dead Easy - PVH at home against Huddersfield from the touchline.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

Worst ground hmm Edgely Park Stockport.

Q - What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

If it stops Derby from getting World Cup games, I'm all for it.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer(realistically)?

I think the targets that Forest have identified are realistic, appropriate and gettable.
Anything more than that wouldnt be realistic, and I would love to see those players arrive.

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

I have a foot in both camps. I do love to stand but how can you trust the likes of Liverpool who for years caused so much trouble.

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

Perhaps I was deluded last season when I said top 6, but as it turned out CC was deluded by not strengthening the defence.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

I would be dissapointed with anything lower than 10th.
7th-8th I would take if we're above Derby
Playoffs - it is possible.

Q - What League position will Forest occupy at the end of the 2009/10 season?

Eighth.

Q - What's your opinion of Billy Davies and what he's done at NFFC, since arriving in January?

A complicated one. In short he kept us up. Im happy so far.

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

All over - Im not complicated.

Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Now if you mean to fornicate (lol) Erm Im Married....
However if you mean to smash over the head with an idiot correction pole, then any of those 'thrill seeking' celebs who go to Wimbledon and watch the tennis and claim it to be a sport! What utter crap
Only one thing in Wimbledon worth doing and thats looking for Wombles.

Thanks again to David for taking the time out to answer the questions. If you would like to take part in the Fan Interviews, then send your answers to forest@vitalfootball.co.uk. You can find a list of the Q's HERE.
