McCleary Delighted With 3 Year Deal

Forest winger Garath McCleary has today signed a new contract with the club, that will tie him to the City Ground until 2012.

The 22 year old told the official site. 'Coming from non-league and now having three years with a club with so much ambition is a dream come true. The club is looking to push on to the Premiership and I obviously want to be at the highest level of the game. It's fantastic. I'm glad that the club have recognised certain things in me and I'm delighted to be here.'

McCleary has only been at the City Ground for 18 months and is seen as one of the best signings made by former boss Colin Calderwood. He's made 43 appearances for us since signing from non league Bromley and will go on to make many more.
