Another Good Week For Billy And His Boys

It's been a good week for Billy Davies and the lads, despite his best attempts at killing them all off at their pre season training camp in Portugal. Pictures on the official site this week, suggested that the players were being given an SAS style workout to get them back into shape and fortunately, it looks like they all survived.

Forest returned home on Friday after their week away in the sun and continued their preparations for the new campaign, with a friendly at Burton Albion on Saturday. It was another good workout for the lads and especially Nathan Tyson, who bagged a ten minute hatrick in the 4-1 win. David McGoldrick got his first goal in the Garibaldi, as they swept the Brewers aside.

Things are going fantastically well for Forest at the moment, both on and off the pitch. The next week promisses to be another busy one for new signings, with Paul McKenna, Chris Gunter and Dexter Blackstock hopefully signing on Monday. That wont be the end of the spending either, as Billy Davies continues rebuilding the squad.

As well as the three amigos signing on Monday, it's believed that talks to bring in Daniel Fox at Coventry, Matthew Mills at Donny and Polish international Radoslaw Majewski, are going very well indeed. If they all come off, that will be ten new players the club has brought in so far this summer and if what we hear is true, it might not end there. These really are remarkable times at Forest, as the Billy Davies revolution gets into full swing.
