Forest Chase Fox And Go For A Lion
Forest are closing in on a deal to bring in Coventry City defender Daniel Fox and hope to have business concluded by the weekend. News on his defensive partner Elliott Ward has gone a bit quiet, but today another name comes to the fore as the Reds' step up their search for a new Centre Half.
NFFC are losing patience with Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan, in their attempts to bring in defender Matthew Mills and are turning their attentions elsewhere.
The deal to bring in Mills is not dead, but Forest are now close to completing a deal for Millwall defender Zak Whitbread.
Whitbread is 25 and available. We understand that talks are already at an advanced stage and he is expected to complete the move. That would mean three new defenders have been brought in this week, with another due to complete the new look back four.
