Plans For New Stadium Venue To Be Announced

Nottingham Forest will meet with representatives from the FA today, where they will submit plans that will see Nottingham become one of the host cities for the 2018 World Cup bid.

Forest are expected to reveal plans to build a new 45,000 all seater stadium in the Gamston area. The NEP says the new ground will also become the home of women's football in England.

The 45,000 seater stadium would have it's capacity reduced to 38,000 after the tournament, because of temporary structures put in place for the World Cup.

Are you for or against plans for a new stadium? Have your say on the forum today.
