Gareth Bales Out Of Forest Move - Now For Plan 'B'

Vital Forest believes that Tottenham Hotspur left back Gareth Bale has turned down a move to the City Ground. It was hoped a deal could be done to bring the player in on loan, with a view to making it permanent in January.

It was always going to be a long shot and an ambitious one at that, to land a player that cost Spurs a reported £10m in 2007, but Forest had been tracking the talented Welshman throughout the summer and saw him as the ideal candidate to fill the problem left back area.

We believe that Forest will now set their sights on Celtic defender Lee Naylor. The 29 year old former Wolves player, comes to the end of his contract at the end of this season and has been an everpresent with the Bhoys, making over 300 appearances.
