Forest Linked With Spurs Duo Again
Rumour and speculation about Spurs duo Gareth Bale and Michael Dawson making a move to the City Ground have resurfaced in the Daily Mirror today.
Vital Forest reported in the summer that both were targets, but that news was greeted with scepticism in some quarters. Our sources have confirmed that they remain on the radar and have been approached and although the chances of signing both are slim/audacious/fanciful/ or downright pissing in the wind (delete where neccessary), we have made firm enquiries.
Speculation claiming that Bale is set to sign in January, grows by the day and if it was to happen, would now come as little surprise to Reds' fans. The chances of resigning former player Michael Dawson have to be slim, particularly as he not only started as Captain in yesterday's 1-1 draw at Villa Park, he also bagged a rather spectacular equaliser. That said, if you don't ask, you don't get.
