What Next For Davies And Thornhill?

Forest duo Arron Davies and Matt Thornhill have had their loan spells at Brighton cut short.

Both were loaned out to the Seagulls until December and January respectively, but have now returned to the City Ground. The Argus says that Seagulls manager Gus Poyet has sent them back as part of a squad trimming exercise, but in truth, neither have exactly set the place alight at Brighton.

What this means for their City Ground futures is unclear, but Billy Davies has said that anyone out on loan will have to prove their worth to NFFC....Gus Poyet didn't think they were good enough for Brighton.

Forest fans might not be too shocked to hear the news on Davies, but Thornhill was widely regarded as one of the brightest young prospects at the club. Do either have a future at NFFC? Join in the debate on the forum today.

Personally, I think that it has more to do with attitude rather than ability - in both cases!
