Swansea 0-1 Forest: The Run Goes On

Some Forest fans, myself included, thought that this game at the Liberty Stadium would be where our fantastic away run ended. As things turned out, there was nothing to fear, thanks to David McGoldrick's deflected goal, yet more solid defending from Wes and Wilson and another superb performance from Lee Camp in the Forest goal.

As we know from our days together in League 1, Swansea play a tidy game of football and that was once again on show, with the home side not giving the Reds' a look in for the first half hour of the match.

Forest were under pressure from the start and found it tough going. But, despite Swansea having the lions share of possession and a good few chances to open the scoring, David McGoldrick gave us the lead in the 35th min from a deflected volley. It was a lead the lads would not relinquish and one that takes us back up to the dizzy heights of 3rd in the table.

The first half was all the home side, but Forest made a bit more of a fist of it in the second. Young Majewski was having a decent game in midfield and once again the defence were looking strong. Lee Camp pulled off two great saves to keep the home side at bay and even the free scoring Lee Trundle couldn't get the home side back into it.

That makes it 13 games without loss and the only team in the entire league, unbeaten away from home this season. The run goes on, we go back up to 3rd and the good times continue to roll for the good ship Nottingham Forest.
