'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coleman - Gracious In Defeat

In this day and age of winning at all costs, it makes a refreshing change to hear a defeated football manager, take it on the chin and admit he was beaten by a better team on the day.

That was the case for Coventry City manager Chris Coleman, in his post match reaction to the 2-0 defeat at the City Ground. Speaking to the BBC, Coleman said. 'We have played one of the best and strongest teams in the Championship today and we have made them work very hard for their victory. When you have two games in quick succession and the second is away to Forest, it doesn't come much harder. We have given a good account of ourselves and I am more than happy.'

Hats off to Mr. Coleman for that. His team did give a decent account of themselves and came to the city Ground and gave it a real go. Fortunately for us, we got the 3 points and continued the brilliant run, that sees us unbeaten in 16 games.
