Shorey Extends Loan Spell
It's not quite the deal Forest fans were hoping for, but Aston Villa have agreed to extend the loan spell of Nicky Shorey until the end of January.
The official site states that Villa have the right to recall him at 24 hours notice and he can't play in the FA Cup.
Shorey has made 7 appearances for Forest and has been absolute quality, since arriving in November. It was hoped that we could agree a permanent deal with Villa, but it looks like Martin O'Neill is keeping his options open. Hopefully the Villans will be busy in the transfer market themselves in January, making Shorey surplus to requirements at Villa Park.
