Morgan Injury Fears Ahead Of Derby Clash

Forest defender Wes Morgan faces an anxious wait, to find out if he will make the all important Derby game at the weekend.

Morgan limped off the pitch in the 5-0 hammering of QPR at the City Ground last night, after over stretching in a tackle in the second half of the game.

According to official site, Wes will have the injury assessed today. Along with Kelvin Wilson at the heart of defence, he's been an essential part of the teams resurgence.

If he does find himself unlucky enough to miss out, it's likely that Luke Chambers will deputise.

Hmm. This will be a wake up call to the Acquisition Committee in terms of our cover for CH position. Wes is a strong lad. He won't be out for long if so. In the meantime...Chambers is a more than adequate deputy. Chambers himself hasn't done much wrong and has found himself unlucky to be out the team. But, Wilson and Wes have been in imperious form.
