The Men In Black: Coventry v Forest

The match officials for the game at the Ricoh Arena between Coventry City and Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night (KO 19.45) have been announced.

Mr. Anthony Bates from sunny Staffs gets the gig for this Championship encounter and it will be the second time this season, he's had the privilege of refereeing a game involving the Reds'. The last time we had the pleasure of his company, was the 4-1 home defeat to Watford back in August.

So far this campaign, Mr. Bates has officiated in 20 games, in which he's dished out 52 yellow cards and 1 red.

He'll be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. A. E. Fearn and Mr. W. D. Smallwood. The 4th official is Mr. M. Heywood.

Whatever happens, he can't be as bad as that tosser we had against Wendy, Trevor Kettle. With a name like that, no wonder all we heard all day was his whistle.
