Billy Davies Is Making His Own Records

Hats off to Forest manager Billy Davies, for guiding his young guns to a new club record.

The 1-0 win over Middlesbrough, made it 9 straight wins at home in the league. That's a remarkable achievement and it's a record that has stayed intact for 30 years. The previous record was set during the much acclaimed 1979/80 season, when the club also won the European Cup. Although that record eventually stretched to 12 games, it was split over two seasons.

Billy Davies has transformed the club since his arrival just over 13 months ago, taking us from relegation certainties, to promotion hopefuls in one gigantic leap. Well done to the team and well done Billy Davies.

Well done to Billy, he is the man. Can promotion come too early? At 60m quid a time, certainly not!
