Bennett Hits The Comeback Trail

Good news for Forest and in particular, defender Julian Bennett today, as the club announce that he is ready to make a return to playing again.

Bennett has been out of action since damaging his knee ligaments, in the Boxing Day game against Doncaster Rovers in 2008. The club say they are hoping to arrange a friendly game for him to take part in, as he tries to regain match fitness.

It's great news for the local lad and fans favourite and will hopefully see an end to a tortuous 14 months for the player.

Hope he can get it back together as the sight of Bennett rampaging down the line and flying into tackles was one to raise your hopes on the dakest of days. Best of luck Jules!
