Corry Evans Kicks Off Summer Transfer Speculation

The Daily Mail is today reporting that Manchester United teenager Corry Evans is on Billy Davies' shopping list this summer.

Evans (19) is yet to make a 1st team appearance for United, but has played a couple of games for Northern Ireland. He's said to be a midfielder/centre half, other than that, there's not much on the fella. According to the Mail, Davies is looking to bring him in on a season long loan deal.

Meanwhile other news regarding Forest is in short supply. Speculation continues over the future of manager Billy Davies and that speculation suggests that he's set for clear the air talks with Chairman Nigel Doughty within the next fortnight.

Other media sources are claiming that Kelvin Wilson will be on his way to SPL giants Celtic. The Nottingham born centre half has been an everpresent in the Reds' defence this season and has made massive improvements to his game compared to last years form. All in all, not much to say at the moment. That however is all set to change, as the summer rumour mill begins to roll.

Corry is the younger brother of Utd defender Johnny and from what I understand is rated as the brightest prospect so could be a good loan deal for us. I don't think Kelvin's career would be furthered by a move to the SPL, though it may be tempting for him as they are a massive club. It's probably more due to the fact that Lennon knows of Wilson from his (Lennons) days with us in L1.
