Forest to Talk to Calderwood

Northampton Chairman David Cardoza confirmed an offical approach from Nottingham Forest over the weekend had been accepted.

Cardoza said 'I can confirm that Colin has been given permission to talk to them and he is flying back from his family holiday to see what they have to say. As we have said to Ipswich Town i expect the matter to be resolved very quickly as our planning for next season is of paramount importance.

Cardoza speaking on the Cobblers offical site continued 'As we have said before we will not enter in to any speculation. We will simply deal with factual information and we will update our supporters as soon as there is anything else to say.'

Forest have been linked with several Managers since Megsons departure but this is the first concrete move, that will see ex Red Calderwood talk with Arthur and Doughty.
