Moloney Joins Notts On Loan

According to the Nottingham Evening post, Forest defender Brendan Moloney, has joined Notts County on a season long loan deal. It will be the second time he's been on loan at Meadow Lane, after spending the first 5 months of the last campaign with them.

The 21 year old right back was an instant hit at Notts and managed a debut goal in the 5-0 romp over Bradford on the opening day. Due to Notts' financial difficulties at Christmas, he ended up joining Scunthorpe on loan, but suffered knee ligament damage after only 3 games, forcing him out for the rest of the season.

There were rumours that Moloney was set to sign for the Magpies on a permanent deal, but a loan move seems a sensible option for a young player, who could still come good for us.
