The Vital Forest Fan Interview: RedSmedDownUnder

The Vital Forest Fan Interview: RedSmedDownUnder

Q - How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

Since about 1969....through thick and thin!!
Home to Man City, we lost 0-1.

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Good: Winning the League Championship, and 2 European Cups.
Bad: Losing to Spuds in the 91 Cup Final, and this seasons showing in the Play Offs!!

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Shilton - Anderson, Walker, Burns, Pearce - O'Neill, A Gemmill, Webb, Robertson - Francis, Collymore

Q - In your opinion, what is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Storey-Moore v Arsenal, 80 yard dribble, taking it past every gooner and his dog, rounding the keeper, and slotting it home.
Francis v Malmo.
Metgod thunderbolt v West Ham.
Pearce v Spuds in 91 Cup Final.
Collymore v Man Ure.
Maj v the Baggies this season.

...there's been some brilliant goals down the years, too many to recall, some probably better than those mentioned.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

Best: Old Trafford.
Worst: Wimbledon's old ground Plough Lane.

Q - What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Great, as long as it's in the right place. For me it needs to be on the banks of the Trent!!

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer(realistically)?

Prattley, Spurr ( Shorey might be out of reach), Nugent (to replace Dele).

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

Personally I still think there should be some standing areas. Areas like the old Trent End generated more atmosphere in my opinion!

Q - What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

First class, because at the start of the season I'd have been happy with mid table, and maybe scraping in to the Play Offs.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

If Billy's there Promotion. If he's not I think we'll probably slip to mid table, depending on who was brought in as a replacement.

Q - What League position will Forest occupy at the end of the 2010/11 season?

Top 2.

Q - What's your opinion of Billy Davies and what he's done at NFFC, since his arrival?

Best thing since BC. He's a loose canon at times, but the turn around in just over a season is there for all to see.

Q- Acquisitions Panel. Good thing or bad?

In theory good. But it needs adjusting. Billy needs more say, and some involved need to put their egos in check for the good of NFFC.

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

At home by the computer, or in bed listening to 5 live. If we get it live on Fox then it's in front of the televisual box!!

Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Demi Moore.
