'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Boyd Returns To Posh

It now looks highly unlikely that Peterborough United winger George Boyd will be joining the Reds' permanently, after returning to his club for pre season training today.

The Posh OS confirmed that he was back in training with them today, with the player himself confirming that his time on Trentside had come to an end.

Boyd said. 'I am glad to be back and raring to go. It didn't work out at Nottingham Forest and I am looking forward to getting back on the training field and hopefully impressing the new manager. I am confident with the players we have we can mount a serious push for promotion.'

Despite arriving at the City Ground with a glowing reputation and at a reported cost of 500,000 for his loan spell, he only made 6 appearances for us and scored 1 goal.
