Pre-season Starts With A Win

Forest's time in Portugal came to an end with a 2-1 victory over SC Olhanense on Sunday as pre-season began with a win.

Robert Earnshaw and Matt Thornhill saw Forest go in 2-0 up at half time and despite Olhanense pulling a goal back in the 2nd half the win was secured as 20 of Billy Davies 22-man squad, only Joel Lynch and Karl Darlow missed out, played a part.

The official website has a full match report, this can be viewed by clicking here.

Forest are in action again on Saturday when they travel to Peterborough.

Do you think Sunday was a good run-out for Forest, and was anything new gained from this?
