Forest Target van Aanholt Loan Signing?

'Reports' that Forest are interested in signing Chelsea youngster Patrick van Aanholt on loan have grown over the past few days.

The 19-year-old, who has enjoyed loans with Coventry and Newcastle, looks set for another loan move as his chances of forcing his way into the Chelsea starting 11 at the moment do not look that good - going out and playing 1st team football 'could' increase his chances in the not to distant future though.

Van Aanholt can play at left back or in central defence and as such Billy Davies is 'said', according to The Sun, to be interested in bringing the Holland youth international to The City Ground, although Newcastle are also 'reported' to be interest in him again.

Would you like to see Patrick van Aanholt join Forest on loan, do you even think that there is the need for him?

Let us know your thoughts.

Would be a quality signing for us, but I wonder if he will end up back at Newcastle on loan, where he did well last season. I think Chelsea may prefer that with Newcastle being back in the prem, but you never know - fingers crossed we can get him.

With 3 going out, any coming in is a bonus.......even got my boots ready if we're short!!!!!

At this stage, anyone with a pulse is welcome! Perch, garner, and Tyson potentially joining them, but a big fat zero in transfer activity. And from a starting position of being the team with least depth in the whole division last year. It seems the off field capability doesn't match the on-field profess and will hold us back from promotion for the second season in a row. Desperate times? You bet.
