Southampton Fail With Tyson Bid

Weekend 'reports' have been 'claiming' that Forest's Nathan Tyson is in demand, with an offer for the striker rejected?

Free spending, and much fancied for the league one title, Southampton are 'said' to have tabled a measly £450,000 for Tyson who cost Forest more than that, £675,000, when he was signed from Wycombe in 2005.

The striker might have been limited in his appearances, certainly starts, last season however he would still be in Billy Davies thoughts I would suspect and an offer that low would not have given the board much to think about, would it?

Do you think Southampton will come in with an improved offer for Nathan Tyson, would you accept a better off, maybe you would have accepted that offer?

Lets us know what you think.

I'd sell him if we had a bid of around £1 million, but that would also depend on who we bring in (is anybody coming in...). I don't think he's a very productive player giving the situations he finds himself in in games. Lower champs / top of league 1 level player imo.

shame that he never plays up front either. a bit wasted on the left. his pace is always a threat, but possibly time for him to move on if we could get another pacy striker in (jay simpson?) or a left winger (whittingham)
