Germany Blues!

Germany Blues!

Not going to Germany? Do not Despair, with this years world cup being in Germany we get the bonus of sociable kick off times! That means no more crawling out of bed at six in the morning to watch a thoroughly dull draw with Nigeria!

This year it all kicks off with hosts Germany taking on the might of Costa Rica, personally I`m hoping for them to get a hatful if only for the benefit of my fantasy football team! That is this coming Friday at 5pm.

The Beeb have the first England match on Saturday which kicks off at 2pm against Paraguay.

ITV get the second England match versus Trinidad and Tobago on the following Thursday at 5pm.

Then they have the probable group decider against the Sven`s very own Swedes, catch that at 8pm on Thursday the 20th.

Other unmissable group matches include Holland against the Argies on Weds 21st and Portugal playing Mexico on the same day!

Now you could sit at home for these great matches or you could enjoy them out with fellow like minded fans in one of the multitude of drinking establishments, for example Sausage in the Cornerhouse! During every match you can get a pint and bangers and mash for six quid! Or if the game is turning out a bit on the dull side you could always play the newly installed table football and heap humiliation on to a less able friend!

Either way this years world cup promises to make good watching!

Come on England!!!
