'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Forest Transfer List Smith

Forest are ready to listen to offers for Paul Smith, after Billy Davies deemed him 'surplus to requirements'.

Smith was the no.1 at The City Ground between 2006 and 2008 - making 140 appearance, helping Forest back into the championship, although as been playing second fiddle to Lee Camp since his arrival from QPR.

Davies, as he told The Nottingham Post, believes that the 30-year-old needs to find himself a new club: 'I have told Paul that his future lies away from.

'It is in his best interests and in the best interests of the club if he moves on to pastures new.

'He needs somewhere where he can get regular first-team football, which we can't offer him here.

'He has been placed on the transfer list and is available for sale.'

Are you surprised to see Paul Smith transfer listed, and would you agree that it's best for him to move on?
