'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Davies On Norwich Draw

Billy Davies believes that Forest looked a bit tired in the 1-1 weekend draw with Norwich, although took his hat off to his opponents: 'The fact is that we looked leggy and didn't play well. You have to give Norwich a lot of credit. They are high on confidence and there is a spring in their step after what they have achieved over the last 12 months.'

On the flip side the Forest manager is pleased to make it three league game unbeaten and knows - but for a little more luck with Rob Earnshaw's effort that hit the post - a win, that would not have been deserved, could have been snuck at the death: 'On the positive side as far as we are concerned we are three games unbeaten and although we didn't deserve it, we could easily have sneaked a win.

'Robert Earnshaw has hit the post and that's the third time this season he has done that.

'It's the kind of thing that is happening to us. We are not getting the rub of the green but sometimes it is a very thin dividing line between success and failure.'

Norwich had already been denied by the woodwork twice earlier in the game, so a draw was 'probably' the fairest result.
