Speed - No Blame For Adebola Challenge
Sheffield United boss Gary Speed deserves a pat on the back for comments he made about Forest striker Dele Adebola, following a nasty injury sustained by his on loan defender Kyle Bartley on Tuesday night.
Bartley had to be stretchered off in the 1-1 draw at the City Ground, after an aerial collision between himself and Reds' striker Dele Adebola.
The defender was taken to hospital and it was later confirmed that he had a depressed fracture of the cheekbone. Fair play to Speed, for defusing what could have been a war of words with the two clubs, when he told the Sheffield Star. 'I know Dele and I know he won't have meant it. He got there a little bit late but it was an accident, a clash of heads. He's a big unit.'
