The New Season Is Afoot!

The 2006/2007 fixture list has been announced today, fans across the country will have been checking out when they will play their rivals and when they get that trip to the big smoke!

It seems again though that the powers that be are determined to spoil our days out! Blackpool on a Tuesday night in August and Bournemouth on a Tuesday night in December! CHEERS!

We kick off the season with a visit from the Bantams in just 6 weeks time! The first grudge match will be Colins former club coming to see us on the 19th of August. The `big` local derby this year sees Chesterfield visit us on the 2nd of September. We have a Visit from `the Wall` in November and get to go to Dario Gradis Crewe in December.

Throw into all that excitement a visit to the most famous club on the planet Accrington Stanley, famous for apparently only allowing their players to drink milk, and giving Ian Rush a boost to start his ailing career.

Looks like this season is going to be fun! Come on Colin! You can do it!
