Celtic To Make Improved Offer For Wilson

Celtic To Make Improved Offer For Wilson

The Daily Mail are today reporting that SPL giants Celtic, are to renew their interest in Forest defender Kelvin Wilson.

They say that the Scottish club are set to come in with an improved offer for the Reds' centre half, who has so far turned down the offer of a new deal at the City Ground.

Forest turned down a bid from Celtic in the summer, believed to be around £1.5m. Wilson is out of contract at the end of this season.

I think we'd better resign ourselves to losing him in Jan and get our act together to pick up a replacement, pronto. Chambers is doing fairly well, but we need someone of Wilson's calibre to compete for centre back places - especially given the sloppy goals conceded so far this season

Cripes, at this rate we'll be lucky to field eleven, let alone subs.

Forest don't need to sell, but £1.5m for a player with 6 months left on his contract isn't a bad offer!
