Young Gunner Ramsey In On Loan

Forest supporters were given a much needed lift today, with news that Arsenal and Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey has joined the club on loan.

The 19 year old starlet was building himself a great career at the Emirates, when he suffered a broken leg last February in a game against Stoke. His first game back from that injury was only 2 days ago, when he played 45 minutes for Arsenal reserves.

Part of the reason for him making the loan move to the City Ground is obviously for him to regain his match fitness, so it's hoped the loan deal can be extended in January in an effort to keep him here for the remainder of the season. If the club can manage to secure his services for that long, then it's a move that should be beneficial to both parties. Welcome to the City Ground Aaron Ramsey.....for now at least.

Ipswich editor here. Just caught my eye, this story - must say it is an impressive signing for you given the potential this lad undoubtedly has; didn't expect to see him back in the Championship. Hope he finds his fitness again - I was watching that Stoke v Arsenal game that night and I won't forget those pictures in a hurry...
