Morison Heads Billy's Shopping List

The Daily Mirror says Millwall striker Steve Morison is a January target for Nottingham Forest.

The Lions top scorer so far this season with 10 goals, one of which was against us at the City Ground back in September when we drew 1-1, is said to be at the top of Davies' list of targets. According to the paper, he will attract a £2m fee, which may be viewed as a little steep, but he is a proven scorer at this level and below.

He's 27 years of age, a Welsh international and 6 ft, 1in tall. He's a battler and a bruiser, which are two of the strengths the gaffer is looking for. He gave our defence a gruelling time in September and would be a welcome addition to the squad.

Don't know that much about him but that's a very big fee for a player who only has 6 months of Championship level experience - if the rumour is true of course. I'd rather that type of money be spent on a top class CB.

£2m. I wouldnt go to morrisons then. Perhaps we need John Aldi, Bob Lidl, or Percy Netto!

ouch, that does sound a lot of cash. Does this mean already that Tungay is not in BD's plans? Not so sure the fans want a bruiser as oppose to a bit of poise up front.
