Two And A half Year Deal For Findley

US striker Robbie Findley will become the first signing of the January transfer window for the Reds', pending the issue of a work permit.

The official site confirmed his arrival yesterday on a two and a half year deal and expect him to be available to play by the beginning of January when the transfer window re-opens and the paperwork is complete.

A very happy Billy Davies said. 'We had a lot of competition in the race to sign Robbie and there's no doubt that we had to work very, very hard to try and convince him this was the right place to come. We've managed to do that and we're very, very pleased. It's a great challenge for him and a great challenge for us as well but there's no doubt that he can score goals and, more importantly, with the pace he's got he can be a real handful.'

Welcome to the City Ground Robbie Findley.
