Clough - Derby Are 'Huge Underdogs'

The mind games have begun, with Derby boss Nigel Clough declaring his team are underdogs in the game against Forest at the City Ground tomorrow night.

Clough told the the rams.co.uk. 'We have lost four on the spin. Forest are creeping up the table towards the top six. They have an incredible home record which stretches back a long, long way, so it would be nice to put a dent in that.'

That home record stretches back 29 games and should stand us in good stead, but it was the Shaggers who broke last seasons' unbeaten away record when they beat us 1-0 at the Sheepdip.

Clough mysteriously went onto say, that another reason we were favourites, was because of the investment we had made in the squad. According to Clough, Forest have invested to the tune of £15m. I'm not sure where he clutched that figure from, but it's news to me and I suspect a fair few other Forest fans.
