Thornhill To Rejoin Calderwood At Hibs

Midfielder Matt Thornhill is to join SPL side Hibernian on a free transfer, subject to passing a medical according to the NFFC official site.

Thornhill will rejoin former boss Colin Calderwood, the man who gave him his first team debut with the Reds during the 2007/8 season.

He spent much of his time under Billy Davies out on loan and had spells at Brighton and Cheltenham. He only made one appearance for us this year in the 2-1 League Cup defeat at Bradford, in which he scored.

In 38 appearances for Forest, he scored 5 goals. Good luck to the lad.

Yeahh best of luck. I liked the lad, thought he had bags of potential, a wise head on a young body. Sorry to see him go
