Forest Fightback For First Win At The Ricoh

Nottingham Forest made it 4 wins out of their last 5 away games, to take them to within a point of the automatic promotion places, thanks to a 2-1 win at Coventry last night. It was our first win at the Ricoh Arena and the first time we've tasted victory on their turf, since the 3-1 win at Highfield Road back in 2003.

Despite going behind to a Marlon King goal in the 26th minute, the Reds' soon equalised with a great strike from Lewis McGugan. Four minutes after McGugan's strike, Robert Earnshaw fired home what proved to be the Forest winner, following some great work from Guy Moussi.

The win takes us up to 4th in the table and just a point off 2nd place. The away day hoodoo seems to have finally bit the dust and we look like hitting form at just the right time. It's still early days of course and with 19 games left for us left to play, there's still alot of work to do. That said, we have 2 games in hand over the teams above and the confidence within the squad is high.

The only downer on an otherwise great night, was news that Guy Moussi could be out for some time with a thigh injury. We await news of that with bated breath and hope he wont be out for too long.
